The event will focus on both the scientific advances being made and the actions needed to improve maternal healthcare and reduce preventable maternal deaths.
New research is improving our understanding of anaemia, PPH diagnosis and treatment, but evidence alone is not enough. Women’s voices, community engagement and country-led action are all essential to improving outcomes.
